The Goal of our Youth Groups

The youth groups here at TUCO are for fun as well as spiritual exploring. We get to explore what we believe and look at others' beliefs as well. It provides a friendly, open and helpful atmosphere that helps us learn and grow.

The goal of our youth groups is to provide a safe place to gather with friends and soon to be friends. As a parent of four (yes four!) teenagers I realize the importance of having a place for to youth to relax and be themselves.
Here at The United Churches we believe in involving our youth as much as possible in their own youth groups, by allowing them to have a voice in what is ultimately their own lives. One of the many things I have come to appreciate about our youth groups, is their ability to welcome newcomers into the fold.
I believe that it is essential that in order to have healthy nurturing adults we must start by allowing our youth to be nurturing as well, and our youth group does that, with God's help. So please come join us.
